Shot in one day at Park Avenue and 33rd Street in New York, at the home of filmmaker Muffie Mayer, the film features cameraman Alex [sic] Hirschfeld and actress Shelby Leverington. It was made by Mitchell Block as his MFA thesis at NYU School of the Arts, Institute of Film and Television, Graduate Division, in 1972." -- Container. Iraq paper scissors: A documentary film that takes us into the lives of five Iraq War veterans struggling with PTSD as they discover that they have dreams and talents beyond machine guns and combat. Through the Combat Paper Project, these young vets have created a unique way to cope, by transforming their combat uniforms into paper, books and art. Expressing themselves as artist and individuals, those who have served are refusing to be forgotten and more importantly, hoping to be understood.
